Introduction
Idle Factory Tycoon ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile game developed by RuiCodex. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our application. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
- Player ID: A randomly generated unique identifier (UUID) stored locally on your device. This ID is not linked to your real identity.
- Player Name: A display name you choose, used only for the in-game leaderboard.
- Game Progress: Factory levels, earnings, prestige level, achievements, upgrades, and daily reward status stored locally on your device.
- Leaderboard Data: Your total lifetime earnings, prestige level, prestige multiplier, highest factory level, and display name are sent to our servers for ranking purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- To save and restore your game progress on your device.
- To display global leaderboards for competitive gameplay.
- To send local push notifications (offline earnings, daily rewards, prestige reminders) — scheduled locally, not from a server.
- To improve the game experience through anonymous usage patterns.
Data Storage & Security
Game data is stored locally using SharedPreferences. Leaderboard data is transmitted over HTTPS encryption to secured SQL Server databases. We do not store passwords, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information (PII). We implement reasonable security measures, but no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services:
- App Store & Google Play — for app distribution, updates, and in-app purchase processing (Apple App Store / StoreKit on iOS; Google Play Billing on Android).
- Google AdMob — for displaying banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID / IDFA), IP address, and general device information to serve relevant ads.
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
Advertising
This app displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Ads help us keep the game free to play. AdMob may use cookies and device identifiers to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
- You can limit personalized ads in your device settings: on iOS via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking (App Tracking Transparency), and on Android via Settings > Google > Ads.
- Some in-app purchases (Remove Ads, VIP Pass, Tycoon Club) allow you to remove all advertisements permanently.
In-App Purchases
The app offers optional in-app purchases including one-time purchases, consumable items, and auto-renewing subscriptions.
- Purchases are processed by the platform store: the Apple App Store (StoreKit) on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android.
- Subscriptions (Tycoon Club) automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your account settings: on iOS via Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions (or the App Store account), and on Android via Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions.
- Refund requests: on iOS through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, on Android through Google Play support.
Push Notifications
The app uses local push notifications to remind you about offline earnings, daily rewards, prestige milestones, and ranking updates. You can disable all notifications from the in-app Settings screen or your device settings.
Children's Privacy
This app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Only anonymous game progress and a self-chosen display name are collected.
Data Deletion
You can delete all local game data at any time using the "Reset All Progress" option in Settings. Your leaderboard entry will be removed during the next server sync cycle.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
